Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3
|
OM6XXX is an Ultra Low Power SoC (System-on-Chip) solution designed for Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3, which combines an ARM Cortex-M4 processor, 2.4GHz RF transceiver and a full range of peripherals.
OM6XXX has an MCU subsystem that contains an ARM Cortex-M4 processor, its corresponding buses and peripherals, including all the multiplexing options for the GPIOs, as illustrated in the following figure.
The processor has a 32-bit instruction set with Thumb-2 mode support to use a hybrid of 16-bit and 32-bit instructions to maximize the code performance and density.
MCU memories have a special retention voltage and its control to have the memories in different modes according to the application usage: OFF, ON, Retention.
The software platform consists of two main parts: Firmware and Application project. All codes should be executed from internal SRAMăROM. The code executed in the ROM or is called Firmware. The code executed in the SRAM is called Application project. The FLASH can be used to store the application program and the user data which should be saved when system is power-down.
